LAGOS LAWMAKER PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO NIMC REGISTRATION CENTRE IN AYOBO IPAJA LCDA, TO IDENTIFY CHALLENGES AND PARTNER ON NIMC DELIVERY*
Hon. Adebisi Yusuff, member Lagos state house of assembly representing the good people of Alimosho constituency 01, paid a visit to the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) registration centre in Ayobo Ipaja Local Council Development Area, today to explore ways of deepening the existing collaboration, identifying various challenges, way forward and partnering with the NIMC in the area of identity management in Alimosho constituency 01.
The NIMC officers discussed the challenges faced by NIMC Ayobo Ipaja registration centre in the fulfilment of its mandate with the lawmaker, describing the legislator as "a major partner" and a stakeholder in the community.
Hon. Adebisi tasks and charged NIMC Ayobo Ipaja registration centre staff on hardwork, diligence and dedicated to their duties. Also He urged the staff to redouble their efforts in the fight against corruption, noting that the fight against corruption should be the key responsibility of every staff of the Commission and other Nigerian. He noted that his visit to the registration centre within his constituency will boast the morale of the staff for the greater success of the Commission and to identify with the good people of Alimosho constituency 01.
Hon. Yusuff also appeal to the residents and most especially the jambite because the national identification number (NIN) is now more important than ever to candidates planning to take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) as they would not be able to register without it which he urged them to maintain orderliness, proper conduct, shun any means of violence at the registration centre and act of corruption which he appeal to the federal government that more centres should be established....
