Ondo Dep. Gov. Agboola Ajayi To Join PDP Next Monday
Barring any last minute change of plans, Ondo State Deputy Governor, Mr Agboola Ajayi will defect from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) next week Monday.
The Deputy Governor will join PDP with not less than ten members of the State House of Assembly.
Members of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) are expected to witness the defection at Akure, Ondo State capital.
Ajayi, according to a reliable source had met with leaders of the party at both the state and national levels.
Some loyalists of the Deputy Governor were said to have already defected to the PDP at their various wards.
A source within the PDP told that Ajayi had met with the National chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus and had pledged to support whoever that is picked as the governorship candidate of the .
